A distinctive artisan-made Japanese bonsai pot （日本手造り盆栽鉢） by Bushuan 不識庵 – Fukuda Shigeru 福田茂, from Tokoname 常滑市.
This deep round pot（丸鉢） has a full, gently rounded body rising into a subtly constricted neck before opening into a broad projecting external rim（外縁）. The generous depth and strong upper rim give the pot excellent 安定感 and a particularly pleasing classical silhouette.
The glaze is the defining feature, combining a vivid emerald to jade-green （緑釉・翡翠色） with deep cobalt and indigo-blue （瑠璃・濃藍） variation. Vertical blue flows interrupt the green ground while darker horizontal throwing lines remain visible around the body, creating considerable depth and movement in the 釉景.
Around the lower body, the glaze develops especially expressive pale green-grey areas with pronounced flowing and pooling （釉流れ・釉溜まり）, contrasting beautifully against the darker blue-green ground. Fine glaze crazing （貫入） contributes further character and 景色 to the surface.
The lower section is particularly sculptural, with the glaze and horizontal wheel-work accentuating the transition into three substantial feet（三足）. The feet are integrated into the rounded form, giving the pot a strong yet elegant stance.
Drainage & Wiring / 排水穴・針金穴
The base has one large central drainage hole（中央排水穴） accompanied by four smaller wiring/drainage holes（四ヶ所の針金・排水穴）, providing excellent practical functionality for bonsai cultivation.
The interior is predominantly unglazed, exposing the pale clay body （胎土）, while the glaze continues around the rim and upper interior edge.
The underside carries impressed Fukuda Shigeru / Bushuan markings（福田茂・不識庵 陶印）.

The interplay of 緑釉・瑠璃色・濃藍, together with natural 釉流れ, 釉溜まり, 貫入 and the visible throwing lines, creates an unusually rich 景色. The result has considerable 造形美, 品格 and the individual ceramic character associated with Fukuda Shigeru’s more expressive glazed work.
