Description: A characterful vintage Tokoname bonsai pot (盆栽鉢) in a distinctive round bag-style drum form (袋形・太鼓形丸鉢), unglazed (無釉) and fired to a deep, earthy brown tone that has matured beautifully with age, showing an even natural patina (経年変化). The body swells softly like a gathered bag, rising to a clearly defined rim (口縁) that gives the pot a strong, finished presence. Encircling the lower body is a continuous rivet-like relief band (鋲文様), forming a decorative basal band that adds texture, rhythm, and a sense of weight and stability. The underside is finished with three applied sculpted feet (貼足), robust and neatly formed, lifting the pot while maintaining excellent balance. Drainage and wiring holes (水抜き穴・針金穴) are cleanly executed and well positioned for practical bonsai use. The underside bears an incised signature, consistent with Tokoname workmanship and Shozan kiln production.
